The National Administration of Medicines, Food and Medical Technology (ANMAT) prohibited this Monday the use, marketing, and advertising nationwide of a series of children's cosmetics and perfumes upon detecting they are illegal products. According to what Argentine News Agency (NA) learned, the measure was officialized through Resolution 221/2026 published in the Official Gazette, following inspections in commercial establishments in the City of Buenos Aires where it was verified that the items lacked the mandatory health registration data. The agency warned that, due to the lack of relevant records, "it is not possible to know if they were manufactured under the appropriate hygienic-sanitary conditions" nor that their ingredients are permitted, which poses a health risk to potential users. Below is the detailed list of prohibited products: "Bebes Llorones": Beauty kit "PEQUEÑA PUPINA" (eyeshadow palette, nail polish, and lipstick). Lilo & Stitch: Artistic makeup set brand "PEQUEÑA DISEÑADORA". Disney Princesses: Beauty set (blush, lipstick, and nail polish). My Little Pony: Beauty set (nail polish and lipstick). Hello Kitty: Makeup set brand "IMAN OF NOBLE". Labubus: Unbranded beauty set. Piku: Beauty set with eyeshadow palette. Bicgerbowe: Liquid foundation in bear-shaped packaging. Victorious Final: Perfume spray "SUNSHINE". ANMAT ruled that the prohibition also applies to sales on online platforms and ordered communicating the measure to all the country's health authorities.
